Coalregion Voice has learned of the passing of Coal Township legend Coach Bernie
Romanoski Sr..
Romanoski was
well known
throughout the greater
Shamokin-Coal Township community for his many years in the Coal Township and later
Shamokin Area School Districts. His philanthropic efforts later in life were numerous, especially for veteran causes.

Romanoski was 85 years old.
