Villanova bound to Chicago to take on Kentucy

Villanova meets Kentucy in NCAA's for the first time since 1988.

The '88 squad advanced to the Elite 8 that season falling to runner-up Oklahoma who were led by Wayman Tisdale. The 1988 game between Kentucy and Villanova was the last for Kentucy standout Rex Chapman.

Villanova was led by senior multi-position player Mark Plansky who was the last member left from the 1985 championship team.
