Republican Congressional candidate Chris Hackett resolved lingering back-tax issues with one of his Luzerne County businesses days after winning the GOP primary.

Finally, longtime Milton Area basketball coach Tony Fannick call it quits after 31 years. Fannick made the AAA state finals in the 1987-88 season and built the program into a District IV power since the mid-80's.
