Sen. Specter in Lewisburg Today

Senator Arlen Specter will hold a town hall meeting at Bucknell University's Trout Auditorium at 3:45 today. According to a report in the Daily-Item, Williamsport's "Don't Tread on Me" Tea Party Patriots will be in the audience.

Remember from April, Tea Parties can be hazardous to your health.

On a sad note, Eunice Kennedy Shriver passed away this morning at the age of 88. Credited with being the founder of the Special Olympics.

By 2003, the Special Olympics World Summer Games, held that year in Dublin, Ireland, involved more than 6,500 athletes from 150 countries. The games are held every four years.

The lives Mrs. Shriver inspired are infinite.
