Shamokin Video From Berwick

Shamokin traveled to Berwick on Friday for a scrimmage with the Berwick Bulldogs. It was the first time since 1994 that the two teams met. Back in 1994 Shamokin scored on the opening kickoff but the Bulldogs won 21-7.

The scrimmage was moved to the pactice field with a steady rain coming down. The grass was 7 inches high in some places.

The Indians held their own, but it was more like a first scrimmage situation than prep for an opener. The word around the scrimmage was that it was supposed to move to Shamokin to take advantage of turf, but it never happened.
